Michigan's St. Julian Wine Co. joins the 2021 Festivities

The Northville Food & Wine Festival is pleased to announce Michigan’s own St. Julian Wine Co. will be serving up their latest offerings at the 2021 Festival in Downtown Northville.

In 1921, Italian immigrant Mariano Meconi founded The Meconi Wine Company in Ontario, Canada. After Prohibition's repeal, Mariano moved to Detroit with the business and renamed it the Italian Wine Company. In 1936 the name was changed again - this time to St. Julian Wine Co. This name change coincided with a move to their current location in Paw Paw, MI, which sits in Michigan's premier grape-growing region; The Lake Michigan Shore Appellation.

St. Julian Wine Co. has been owned and operated by the same family for four generations. Their passion for local farms, real Michigan fruit, and the production of quality wine and juice has been upheld for 100 years. This long-term commitment to quality fruit from Michigan has made St. Julian Wine Co. the most-awarded winery in Michigan.

St. Julian’s portfolio of award-winning wines has over 100 products and include distilled spirits, ciders, and every type of wine from internationally recognized dry wines to award-winning sweet wines, classic dessert wines and wines using innovative wine-making techniques.

Since 1998 St. Julian has also been producing some of the finest spirits, many of which are made from grapes. Thier line of spirits includes vodka, rum, and award-winning brandies.
